It was love at first sight for us in Dubai. From the moment we left the airport, Dubai was one big WOW. We posted about our amazingly fun Dubai Mall camel-riding and belly-dancing adventure in the desert. One of the most incredible experiences was seeing the dancing fountains at the Burj Khalifa.
BEST TIME TO VISIT DUBAI
The best time to visit Dubai is from November to March, during the mild winter when outdoor activities are enjoyable. Avoid the scorching summer months, and consider cultural events like Ramadan if you plan to visit during that period. Overall, winter offers the ideal blend of pleasant weather and a lively atmosphere for your Dubai experience.

WHAT TO WEAR IN DUBAI
In Dubai, it’s essential to dress modestly and respect local customs. For men, lightweight trousers or jeans with a collared shirt are suitable. Women should opt for modest clothing, such as long skirts or trousers and tops with sleeves. While swimwear is appropriate at beaches and pools, cover up when not in these areas. Carry a scarf for religious sites. Always consider the weather – lightweight, breathable fabrics are ideal to combat the heat. In malls and public places, casual wear is generally accepted, but dressing more formally for upscale venues is advised.
DUBAI TRAVEL GUIDE: 6 DAYS
1. BURJ KHALIFA
The Burj Khalifa, standing as the world’s tallest building, is an architectural masterpiece in the heart of Dubai. Soaring to over 828 meters, it offers unparalleled panoramic views of the city and beyond. Its observation decks, such as the renowned At The Top, provide visitors with a stunning perspective. The Burj Khalifa houses luxury residences, corporate suites, and the Armani Hotel, making it a symbol of modernity and opulence. The tower is illuminated in the evening, creating a mesmerizing display that adds to the city’s vibrant skyline.
2. THE DUBAI MALL
The Dubai Mall is huge! Dubai Mall is a shopper’s paradise and entertainment hub with world-class attractions, luxury brands, and diverse dining experiences in the heart of the city.”
BURJ AL ARAB
The Burj Khalifa is magnificent at 829.8 m tall. Catch the fountain, music and light show at the base of the Burj Khalifa. It’s very special and happens every day.
DAY TRIP TO ABU DHABI
If you don’t have time to stay in Abu Dhabi, I recommend doing a full-day tour so you can experience the top activities! Abu Dhabi is a little over an hour from Dubai so it’s not far at all. However, Abu Dhabi is more conservative, and please remember to respect the culture when visiting.
DESERT SAFARI
A Desert Safari in Dubai is an immersive experience that takes you into the heart of the Arabian Desert. Typically starting with an adrenaline-pumping dune bashing session in 4×4 vehicles, it offers a thrilling ride over the golden sands. The safari often includes camel rides, allowing you to absorb the serene desert atmosphere. As the day transitions into evening, enjoy a picturesque sunset and indulge in traditional Arabic entertainment, including belly dancing and henna painting. A sumptuous barbecue dinner under the starlit sky completes this enchanting adventure, making it a must-do for every Dubai visitor.
DESERT PHOTOSHOOT
They offer flying dress rentals, and 1 edited/photoshopped image (they offered 38 extra for me). They do offer to give all raw images so I was able to edit my images on some that did not need any Photoshop work.
